Dr. Brooke Riley, PT, DPT, first visited Jamaica in 2004, during a six-week internship with Dr. Karen Sawyer, PT, DPT, an assistant PT professor at Arcadia University. Assistant Director
Beth has been a vital part of our team since 2013. Aside from treating patients, she serves as our Volunteer Coordinator and is the Assistant Director of the clinic. Beth’s calm demeanor and organizational abilities help keep us all afloat.
Elaine Wiltshire
PT Aide
As a physical therapy aide, Toots is our energizer bunny! Her energy and work ethic are uplifting to staff and patients alike as she assists with patient care. Toots plays a big role in our adaptive equipment program and helps custom build equipment to meet our patients needs. She is also a very talented artist, making jewelry from some of Jamaica’s natural resources.
Peter Swaby
Driver
Peter has been working as a driver for FOR U since 2016. Whether driving patients to their PT appointments or making trips to the airport to pick-up volunteers, his friendly, easy-going nature is hard to miss.
Josan Sutherland
Staff Therapist
Josan was the first Jamaican therapist to join the FOR U Team. She has a passion for working with persons with spinal cord injury and a positive energy that keeps us all going.
Sandra Bromfield
Custodian
Sandra joined our team in 2017 and has always worked behind the scenes taking care of everybody! She pitches in wherever needed and quietly moves from place to place often singing a gospel tune.
Dwayne Tulloch
Office Manager
Dwayne joined our full-time staff in July 2019, but he has been a part of the FOR U family for many years. As a man of many talents, Dwayne is willing to help out wherever needed. We all appreciate his wonderful sense of humor and his mad communication skills.
Brenton Swaby
Groundkeeper/Maintenance
Brenton joined the FOR U team in 2016 as part of our transport crew, working with his father to assist patients to/from the clinic. He is also very handy with tools and now serves as our groundskeeper and maintenance man. As a “jack of all trades”, Brenton works behind the scenes to keep the clinic running smoothly.
